Evergreen Retirement Community

Our residents are THE BEST. The Employee Appreciation Committee of the Resident's Council shared this beautiful letter with staff this morning.

March 27, 2020

To the Amazing Employees of Evergreen Oshkosh:

On behalf of all residents and their family members, we wish to say a heartfelt thanks to each of you for the kindness and care you continue to devote, day in and day out, even in these difficult times, to keep us safe and comfortable and to keep Evergreen the beautiful home we have come to love.

We understand that the Coronavirus pandemic has created challenges for you and your family that you must deal with in addition to the responsibilities you have accepted here at Evergreen. Please know that we recognize this and hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.

Until this virus is contained, please accept all the smiles, air hugs and elbow bumps we can muster.

Sincerely,
The Employee Appreciation Committee

Evergreens overriding priority continues to be, above all else, the safety and health of our residents, employees and visitors. In addition to adhering to the guidelines for long-term care and health care workers, we are following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Effective immediately, we are restricting all visitors, including immediate family, to the Evergreen health center (Creekview North and South) and assisted living (Garden Building and ShareHaven) until further notice. Immediate family and durable power of attorney who need to visit for urgent medical reasons will be allowed access. In order to assure business continuity, other individuals who will have access are employees and essential personnel who need to keep operations running to ensure our residents needs are met.
In addition, all entry doors with the exception of the main entrance (door 1) Courtyard entrance (door 2) and Manor South patio entrance will remain locked until further notice to help streamline traffic through the building.
Evergreen DOES NOT have any confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
