Pickle-ball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. The game is played with a paddle and whiffle ball on a mini-tennis-sized court. Because the court is smaller than a tennis court and the ball is slow moving, pickle-ball is an ideal sport for older adults. It's fun, easy to play and can easily be played in small indoor and outdoor spaces.
Pickle-ball provides an enjoyable alternative to higher impact sports. It helps to improve hand-eye coordination and cardiovascular fitness. Naturally, socialization and teamwork are additional benefits!
