Intergenerational Programs

Fun for all ages

Evergreen residents enjoy a wide variety of intergenerational programs and activities in cooperation with several local schools. Students from kindergarten through college visit with residents, provide entertainment and participate in many life enrichment opportunities. Both residents and students benefit from the interactions between generations and activities, like the following:

  • Third grade students from Webster Stanley Elementary School visit Evergreen once a month during the school year to participate in activities with residents.
  • Lourdes High School students come to Evergreen as part of their Adult Christian Living class. They visit with residents and provide other volunteer services as needed.
  • College students from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh often entertain residents. They also assist during special events such as the “Special Evenings of Dining and Entertainment” and the “Grand Events."
