College students gain from clinical experiences at Evergreen

Evergreen Retirement Community has generously opened their doors for students of FVTC (Fox Valley Technical College) for over 30 years. The partnership is an excellent example of ‘academia meets the real world.’ Our faculty have consistently requested student placement at Evergreen because of the high standards and level of care they provide for residents. We select clinical sites where employees are positive role models for students and demonstrate excellence in nursing care. Students report that they are welcomed by Evergreen employees and are made to feel a ‘part of the healthcare team.’ Because of the atmosphere at Evergreen, our students and faculty consider this facility one of the premiere learning experiences in the area.
