Every year Evergreen hosts the World of Thanks Annual Recognition Event to thank residents, staff, volunteers and donors for their special support of the Evergreen mission. The evening is a meaningful opportunity to express appreciation to the many individuals who make Evergreen unique and special.  It is an evening filled with fun, laughter, and the shared joy of being part of the Evergreen family. 
 

The 8th annual World of Thanks event was held on October 20 at La Sure's Banquet Hall and featured a TV Game Show theme. Over 220 people enjoyed a delicious meal and a memorable slide presentation honoring the many individuals recognized for their generosity of time, talents and treasures as well as their commitment to quality.  The awards program was interspersed with scenes from popular TV shows such as Let's Make a Deal and Family Feud, and old-time commercials for Kool-aid, Doublemint gum, Dr.Pepper and more!

The event is Fun, Appreciative, Meaningful and Educational, the acronym of the FAME team of staff and residents who work throughout each year planning this very special occasion.
